An Able to Pay customer who suffers from chronic asthma engaged with us to design a bespoke modular solution aimed at enhancing thermal efficiency and eliminate damp, mould and condensation in their living space.
Challenges faced
Given our expertise in delivering energy efficiency measures for off-grid properties, we recognised the need to demonstrate how the key issues of damp, mould and condensation would be removed post installation of our Internal Wall Insulation System.
By adopting an empathetic, customer centric approach, we needed to showcase how we would be able to mitigate health risks and deliver the works whilst the customer remained in situ.
Solution provided
Significant thermal upgrade delivered in just one day. Evidence of damp and mould removed in its entirety, and post works, Internal Wall Insulation decorated to suit the customer’s needs.
Implementation process
Our first task was to survey the property, assess the condition of existing walls and determine an appropriate Internal Wall Insulation System to meet the intended outcomes. In this instance, Premium System was selected due to its enhanced thermal transmittance value.
Following consultation with the customer, proposing our solution and agreeing on a programme of works, we proceeded to design and manufacture bespoke modular panels to meet the dimensional requirements of the property.
Within a matter of weeks, our System was delivered to the property and expertly installed by one of our approved installation partners. Arriving as a kit of parts, with all socket holes cut out at manufacturing stage, we removed the risk of harmful off-cuts which could cause a detrimental effect on the air quality within the property.
